My son got a puppy for Christmas, as many already know. Potty training has it's ups and downs. Roxie seems to do really well when it is just she and I at home. Yet, when the family is all home of an evening it's as if she goes brain dead. My husband wanted to wait a month to shampoo the carpets...I've a very strong sense of smell and so we're shampooing this weekend. I offered to help. David went to IKEA today to buy my desk (so excited!!!) and while he was gone I shampooed the hall and dining room...or so I thought. He showed me how before he left, but I missed one very important step. You see this:
So there's a story for ya! I try to be helpful, I try real hard to get it done before he gets back so he won't laugh at me...and what happens? He gets the last laugh anyway and says, "Oh honey, I really do love you." I'm glad I could provide him with some entertainment. My grandpa says that's how one manages to stay married.
My mom once asked my grandpa, "Daddy how have you managed to stay married to Mama all these years?" Grandpa's reply was simply and very memoriable. He said, "It hasn't been boring."
Enough said.

P.S. I dislike red buttons :)
